Caption: Nairobi Fire Brigade servicemen are reflected in the miorror of a Fire Fighting All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV) on December 11, 2012 in Nairobi which is the latest effort by the East African nation's government to beef up it's preparedness to respond to and curb fire, particularly in slums where fire outbreaks have in recent years claimed numerous lives and property due to their unregulated rapid growth making them less accessible to traditional fire fighting engines. At least 120 people burned to death when a pipeline burst into flames in a Nairobi slum in September 2011 as local people were siphoning fuel from it, and more than 100 were injured.
