South Africans Pray For Nelson Mandela As His Condition Improves

Referring to Mandela by clan name, Madiba, President Jacob Zuma said, "We appeal to the people of South Africa and the world to pray for our beloved Madiba and his family and to keep them in their thoughts." Mandela's lungs were damaged when he contracted tuberculosis during his 27 years in the infamous Robben Island prison.
