Former IMF head Rodrigo Rato leaves a hearing in Madrid on October 16, 2014 accused of spending sprees with a company credit card while he was chief executive of bailed-out Spanish bank Caja Madrid. He has been named in court documents along with more than 80 other former executives suspected of lavish spending on non-work-related hotels, restaurants and trips with secret credit cards laid on by the company. Audit documents submitted by prosecutors to Spain's National Court detailed a total of 15.2 million euros ($19.2 million) of spending by former managers of the bailed-out group Bankia, which Rato headed from 2010 to 2012.
