Filipinos line up to see an exhibit with a life size replica of the Shroud of Turin which allegedly had an image of Jesus Christ at the Mall of Asia in Manila 08 September 2007. The majority of people in the Philippines are Roman Catholics the only predominantly Christian nation in Southeast Asia and relics like the shroud are held in high regard. The replica of the shroud and various icons are on exhibit in this country up to December for Filipinos who cannot afford to visit the actual relics in Europe. The Shroud of Turin is a mysterious artifact displayed only three or four times a century in a cathedral in Turin, Italy. The next official exposition of the Shroud is slated in 2025.
