MENDIOLA BRIDGE, MANILA, METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES - 2015/04/17: Filipino activists raise placards calling for decent housing around a makeshift home, during a rally in Mendiola Bridge, to protest the demolition of homes of informal settlers. Informal settler groups are demanding Philippine President Benigno Aquino III to issue an Executive Order favoring onsite housing for informal settlers. They also demand President Aquino to halt the planned North Bay Boulevard Project in Navotas City that would reclaim around 5,000 hectares of foreshore lands, in which informal settler groups allege would displace 20,000 families of informal settlers and fishers.
