Protests Continue As President Morsi Declares A State Of Emergency

Several luxury hotels on the banks of the Nile River in central Cairo were forced to close after being surrounded by violent demonstrations and in one case, being broken into. Protests continued across Egypt nearly one week after the second anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution that overthrew former President Hosni Mubarak on January 25, 2011.
