TO GO WITH Australia-history-WWI-Gallipoli-graves,FEATURE by Madeleine Coorey This photo taken on April 17, 2015 shows a scrap book of old photos owned by Australian Lance Corporal William Vernon Boase, who fought in the Gallipoli campaign in World War I with the 7th Australian Infantry Battalion, and kept and displayed at the home of his great nephew Allan Grant in Melbourne. It's been a century since William Boase was killed in World War I's disastrous Gallipoli campaign but the Australian soldier's family has never lost hope of giving him a proper burial.
